FAQ

Our lights come with a 5-year warranty.
When your light has any problems, you can contact us to get a warranty with your order number or a screenshot of your order.

Most of our lights are dimmable. They come with a dimmer box. So their intensity can be adjusted freely and you can also connect several lights together.
Please note the SF1000D, SF300, and SF600 are NOT dimmable. They don’t come with a dimmer box.

1) Light Spectrum: Different plants require different light spectrums for optimal growth. Full-spectrum lights make it easy for you.
2) Light Intensity: The intensity of light required varies depending on the type of plant and its growth stage.
3) Energy Efficiency: LED grow lights are the most energy-efficient and can save you money in the long run.
4) Coverage Area: Consider the size of the area you need to cover and choose a grow light that can cover it adequately.
5) Heat Output: Choose a grow light with a low heat output or one that has a built-in cooling system.
6) Brand and Reputation.

SE SERIES: The wide spacing between the multiple LED strips allows the SE Series to spread the light evenly when close to the canopy without any hot spots.
SF SERIES: The SF series is great for beginners. They have an excellent light transmission as HPS lamps.
G SERIES: Cost-effective performance. The G series utilizes the same design philosophy as the premium SE series but at a more affordable price point.
Garden SERIES: Ideal for Seedlings, Vegetables, Flowers, Microgreen, Herbs, and Succulents.

1) Energy Efficiency: LED grow lights are highly energy-efficient.
2) Customizable Spectrum: LED grow lights can be customized to emit specific wavelengths of light that plants need for optimal growth, such as red and blue wavelengths that are crucial for photosynthesis.
3) Low Heat Emission: LED grow lights produce very little heat, reducing the risk of heat damage to plants.
4) Longevity: LED grow lights have a longer lifespan.
5) Increased Yield: Studies have shown that plants grown under LED grow lights can have higher yields.

The lifespan of LED lights is 50000 to 100000 hours.

The wattage you need for your LED grow light will depend on several factors, including the size of your grow area and the type of plants you’re growing. As a general rule of thumb, a coverage area of 2′ x 2′ to 3′ x 3′ will require a LED grow light with a power consumption of around 50-150 watts. For larger grow areas, you may need a LED grow light with a higher wattage, up to 1000 watts or more.

The wattage of a grow light only indicates its energy consumption, it’s more important to focus on the light output measured by PPF. The number of watts does not necessarily reflect the light output as it depends on the quality and efficiency of the LED chips. Higher light output means the grow light can support more plants.

Yes, LED grow lights can be used for all stages of plant growth, from seedling to flowering and fruiting. This is because LED grow lights can be customized to emit specific wavelengths of light that plants need for optimal growth at different stages of their life cycle.
Our Spider Farmer LED lights are all full spectrum. They can provide the necessary light spectrum for all stages. And our lights are dimmable so that you can adjust the specific intensity for each stage, from seedling to flowering and fruiting.

You can hang your lights horizontally or vertically. But hanging horizontally gives a more even illumination and achieves better results.
The optimal hanging height of LED grow lights depends on the wattage and the coverage area of the light.
As a general rule, you can hang the lights up to 16”-30” during the seedling stage of the plants. Once the plants go to the vegetative stage, you can hang the lights to 12”-20”. At the flowering stage of the plants, you can hang the light to 12” for better production.
The recommended heights for the specific light models you can find on the listings for each light.
